Cheryl Bly-Chester, P.E., has locations in Roseville, California in the Sacramento Area and in
Truckee, California in the Tahoe Area. She is licensed as a Professional Civil Engineer in California
and is also a California Registered Environmental Assessor (REA) as well as a Nevada State Certified Environmental Manager (CEM).
Since entering the hazardous materials environmental field in 1987, Ms. Bly-Chester has performed or directed over 500 environmental projects involving site assessment, investigation, and remediation at a variety of commercial and industrial facilities located primarily in California and Nevada, but also in 22 States and 13 countries. Ms. Bly-Chester's environmental project experience includes hydrogeologic surveys, hazardous waste investigations and remediation, underground storage tank investigations, asbestos remediation, litigation support, and operations and maintenance (O&M) of Soil Vapor Extraction systems and Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plants. She served as the Program Manager for a $150 million O&M contract at McClellan Air Force Base. She has consulted on sites including electronics facilities, plastics facilities, food production plants, recycling facilities, electrical generation facilities (e.g.: cogeneration plants, biomass, geothermal, industrial heat exchange, nuclear, solar and wind energy), automobile manufacturing sites, highways and highway structures, railroad corridors and facilities, airports, landfills, mines and quarries, natural gas well sites, bioresearch facilities, medical/hospital facilities, military bases, service stations, dry cleaners, telecommunications centers, agricultural sites, forest lands, nurseries, wineries, golf and ski resorts, warehouses, and commercial, retail, and office buildings.

Cheryl Bly-Chester’s great-great grandmother was born in Colusa County California before the Gold Rush and all of her great grandparents on her father’s side were in California before 1860; whereas her mother is a German immigrant. Ms. Bly-Chester enjoys skiing, whitewater sports and travel. She has traveled up and down California, to all 50 states and more than 65 countries visiting family and friends, as well as for business and adventure. She lives with her three children in Roseville, Placer County and owns vacation property in South Lake Tahoe, El Dorado County.
